Flavors of Vintage

I absolutely love everything vintage, especially from the 40’s Big Band Swing Era. Be it the clothing, the hairstyles, the music, or even just household treasures – I just can’t get enough. There is just so much to love from that particular decade. And what could be more fun than implementing that whole vintage feel into a wedding?

I found several weddings that really inspired me and of course I had to share! There is just so much vintage glam goodness that I can’t get enough!! Not to mention the photography from some of these weddings is absolutely fabulous. I feel like I’m floating in a dream of days gone by.

I’ve always really liked black and white photos, and what better excuse to create such beautiful pictures as these than a vintage wedding? Okay, okay, you don’t really need an excuse to go black and white, but I have to admit that the clothes and the hair really make them special.

And seriously – do these old Coca-Cola boxes not just say it all? The florals are absolutely perfect with it, especially with the golden sunlight glowing on these blooms from behind. I was already loving the whole setup, but then I saw this and just about died:

Whoever had the genius idea of setting up an old typewriter and having the guests type their love advice to the bride and groom – you are my hero forever!! I think this was my absolute favorite find out of all of these photos!

And look at these wedding invitations!! These give me all kinds of wonderful ideas. It really is the details that make the wedding. I am in vintage heaven! I sure hope you have enjoyed looking through these photos as much as I have enjoyed collecting them.
