Summer is winding down slowly now and we’re moving toward
autumn, but I’m not quite ready to say goodbye yet!! I love the vibrant colors
that summer always infuses into everything, and I’m still coveting some truly
gorgeous summery color schemes from our paper good vendor, Envelopments. If you
haven’t seen their website, you should check it out. Not only are their
products beautiful, high quality, and simply fabulous, their samples and examples are a wonderful source
of inspiration and eye candy!
(And of course if you see anything there that you would love
to use for your wedding invitations – or birthday party, wedding shower, or
other event! – be sure to let us know. We will create something spectacular
that you will just LOVE!)
Look at this gorgeous color combination: Pout Pink, Guava,
Crème Brulée and Ecru. It says this wedding is going to be happy, lighthearted,
open, and fun! I picture a ceremony in some vast green garden overflowing with
orange poppies, pink bougainvillea, and fruit trees!

And don’t you just love this color combo!? Bronze,
French Roast, and Peacock. These invites are classy, simple, and elegant, yet
they say “we know how to have fun, too!” They foreshadow a ceremony in a
beautiful cathedral with stained glass windows, followed by a reception
bursting with calla lilies, champagne, and a rich, many-tiered chocolate cake
with ganache center. Yum!

And last but not least, I’ve been relishing this yummy
nature-inspired color combination: Envy Green, Black Linen, Diamond, and
Pyrite. These wedding invitations are romantic, sweet, and whimsical. I can
just see a late-summer wedding on a venerable family estate lined with oak
trees and decorated with bunches of fresh green grapes and bouquets of white
peonies!
