Custom Creations by BG

Even though we specialize in wedding invites, there is so much more that we do here at BG Design! We can create everything paper-related, really. Table toppers, signage, menus, name tags, labels, cards, and anything else that you might need for your special day. Or if you have some other occasion, like a baby shower, a birthday party, or other special event, we can create all of the paper goods for that too.

Here are some samples of a few of our favorite other designs that we’ve done! As you can see, there’s so much flexibility in what we can create. Every client and every event has different styles and tastes and should have paper goods that are just right. That’s why at BG Design Studio everything we do is custom designed, specially for you. We listen to what it is that you want and use our skills and expertise to put together something that you simply love.

Of course, if you see a design that you like, we can always tailor it specially for you and make it just right for your event. We have a huge variety of stock, ribbon, crystals, and other accessories. Depending on your needs, we can make them smaller or larger, change fonts or try different colors. The sky is the limit!

If you live far away, don’t worry! We are based in Orange County, CA, but we work with clients all over the U.S. and Canada.

DIY Paper Clutch Bag

Break out your favorite cardstock and roll up your sleeves – this DIY paper clutch bag looks like such a fun project! I saw it and simply fell in love. There are so many different things you could do with this little clutch, including incorporating it into an adorable invite!! My imagination is running wild…

The instructions say to download and print one of these patterns off of the Hermès website with your home printer on some heavier cardstock, and I’m sure that would be lovely, but all I could think when I was reading the instructions was that it would be much easier to simply use some of your favorite (already) patterned cardstock instead. And if you used something plastic coated, the clutch could even be usable!

Our vendor, Envelopments, has some gorgeous patterns that would be to die for on this clutch bag!! Can’t you just see some of these papers on the design? So cute!!! I just love stuff like this.

Would you like something like this on an invite? Check out the BG Design Studio website to see more of what we can do. Maybe we can create something like this for you!

The wedding dress!!

What gets more attention from the women at a wedding than the wedding gown? Nothing, of course!! Little girls dream about where they want to get married, they wonder about the flowers they will carry and the food that will be served. But more than any of that, they fantasize about the DRESS they will wear!!!

It’s so important to find just the right wedding gown when you get married! You deserve to feel like nothing less than a princess becoming a queen as you walk down the aisle to marry the love of your life. Sometimes you might try on dozens of dresses before you find just the right one. But you just know it when you do! That magical moment when you put the dress on and turn around to look in the mirror, and think, “this is it!!”

I personally believe that your wedding dress should reflect you and your personality. Some of my favorite gowns were not the traditional white at all, but colorful and unique. But for this blog post, I decided to pick out some gorgeous, more traditional white wedding dresses that really caught my eye.

What's in bloom?

Spring is blooming everywhere (well, almost anyway!) and so are FLOWERS! I have a soft spot for bridal bouquets and that especially counts in the spring. There’s always so much color and creativity this time of year. We start seeing new arrangements all over the place and I just get all goose-pimply and warm inside at the same time!

These are some of my favorite seasonal bridal bouquets that I have seen recently. In a lot of them you see these soft, warm pastel colors with splashes of bright color that just make everything pop!

Some arrangements are leaning towards the more natural, adding things like long branches with leaves and berries for a rustic, bohemian beauty. Like this cheerful yellow bouquet:

Here’s another really unique bouquet! This one includes feathers!!! I absolutely love how creative and outside of the box this is. I can only imagine how many other possibilities there are for feathery floral arrangements.

And look at this!! These bouquets have a totally vintage feel by creating them entirely from old keys and fabric. Not only is this totally outside the box, but you could keep these mementos of your special day forever and they would never droop or dry out on you.

I love this last one with the cute little succulent! So pretty!
